Why must we start at Katunga?
Your Plaza 21 Club Entrance Package Tour must start at Katunga if you go by Taxi –The reason is that all the other clubs in Plaza 21 have contracts with the Taxi drivers to receive a commission from your cover charge - in addition to your cab fare. Once you enter Katunga then you can go to the other clubs with your fully paid entrance coupons and have no problems because the cab driver has gone away.

Can women go with or without men?
Women are welcomed at Plaza 21 accompanied our unaccompanied by men. However they do need to pay the $15 for the entrance-cover charge coupon.

Questions about transportation.

How much will a cab cost?
Always ask the price of a cab before you get into the cab. Most cab fares from the hotel zone will $30 USD to $45 USD one way to Plaza 21. The clubs can help you get a cab for the return but again ask before you get in and be prepared to pay $30 to $45 for up to 4 passengers for your return trip to your hotel in the Cancun hotel zone. The price really depends on the taxi driver and where your hotel is located in the hotel zone.

Where do I tell the cab drive I want to go?
Tell the cab driver you want to go to Plaza 21. Then upon arrival tell him you are going to Katunga and do not accept any other club as your first club. See Questions about the tour above.

I have a rental car. Can I drive my self?
Absolutely, when you register pleas put a note in the comments box that you will be driving your own car and you need a map. We will send you map on how to get the Plaza 21 from the hotel zone.

Questions about the safety.

Is it a safe area?
Plaza 21 is actually outside Cancun and sits inside a walled in area. It is safe but we do recommend you keep your group together, and exercise the same safety precautions you would in any other club environment.

I have heard the waiters will try to “rip you off.”
No doubt there are unscrupulous waiters and dancers in Plaza 21 as there are everywhere. We recommend that you always ask the price of drinks and private dances before you take one.
